Dear Tinton Falls Residents: We first learned about the Federal Government plan to house Ebola-exposed travelers at Fort Monmouth the way most other people learned it, in a newspaper article. http://www.nj.com/monmouth/index.ssf/2015/02/ebola-exposed_travelers_to_be_quarantined_at_fort_monmouth_officials_say.html
Rest assured that we are now involved with our local, county and state leaders expressing our dismay about being left in the dark about the plan and our insistance that we have as much information as possible since our emergency services respond to the Fort as part of a long-standing mutual aid agreement.
We will update our residents as we learn more. Thank you.
