Engineering

The Borough Engineer provides all levels of technical support service on capital improvement projects ranging from concept development and engineering design through construction administration and inspection. The capital projects typically handled by the Borough Engineer consist of Roadway Reconstruction and Resurfacing, Stormwater Management System Improvements, Sanitary Sewer Piping and Pump Station Improvements and Park and Recreation Facility Improvements. The Borough Engineer also provides professional support to the Code Enforcement and Zoning Departments in the review of zoning permits and grading plans. Additionally, the Borough Engineer observes the construction activities associated with Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment approved development applications for site plans and subdivisions.

The Engineer serves as a liaison between State, County and Borough projects.
