Tinton Falls Recreation

The Tinton Falls Recreation Department is dedicated to providing safe parks and facilities offering educational and recreational opportunities, preserving open space and natural resources all contributing to an enhanced quality of life for present and future generations. Current Programs and Events

Spring Performance, Speed and Agility Clinic
Looking to Get Faster? Trying to Enhance your Athleticism- This is the program for you.  For athletes of all sport backgrounds looking to stay in shape and prepare for upcoming seasons. Five sessions on Thursdays, 6:30-7:30pm. For additional information check out our promotional flyer.

Basketball Without Boundaries Clinic
Some of the Girls from Monmouth Regional High School and looking to give back to the Community they grew up in.  They are offering a Basketball Clinic for Girls in Grade 5, Grade 6 and Grade 7 on April 24, 2024 from 6:00-7:00pm at Monmouth Regional. Join them and experience a great opportunity to sharpen your skills taught by our local high school girls. Check out the attached promotional flyer for additional information.
 

Flag Football
Interested in Flag Football for children in kindergarten through grade 8. Program held April-May. Click here for more information.

Pride and Hustle Baseball Summer Camp

Spring Break
Looking for activities for children ages 5 to 11 during Spring Break, Monday, April 1st through Friday, April 5th. The Recreation Department is working with the folks at Snapology and Kidz Art offering two programs; 9:00-12:00 and 12:30-3:30.  Register for Snapoloy or Kidz Art or both.

TINTON FALLS MUNICIPAL PARKS
Enjoy our Pickleball and Tennis Courts at Wardell Park, the new Acoustiblock Sound Barrier has been installed. Pickleball Players just a reminder: Please use the racks located on the outside of the fence entrance to hold your paddles for "Open Play". This is required to avoid a reduction in the effectiveness of and damage to the sound barrier. Have Fun!

All Municipal Park athletic fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, tennis courts, pickleball courts and passive recreation areas are open for usage.  Park Permits are required for All Sport Organizations, Teams and Special Events and can be obtained through the Recreation Department.  

The Recreation Department is very excited about the many park improvements and new park facilities to be implemented with the Borough of Tinton Falls. Enjoy the new playground apparatus at Hockhockson Park. It is full of climbers, slides, interactive games providing a wide range of play styles for all. On a sunny day enjoy our parks, playgrounds and courts.

Also, check out our new park, Wardell Park, featuring a playground apparatus, basketball courts, tennis courts and pickleball courts. It is ready for everyone to enjoy!

Liberty Park has also been upgraded with resurfaced basketball courts, a grand dog park and new playground apparatus. Check out the tall slide. Riverdale Ave West Park also has renovated basketball courts and new playground apparatus.

We are proud of our Parks in town, they offer something for everyone. There are a lot of great amenities. 

TINTON FALLS RECREATION EMAIL BLAST AND DISTRIBUTION LIST
The Tinton Falls Recreation Department accepts registration for our programs through Community Pass. We encourage all residents to set up a family account and sign up for the email distribution list to keep informed of Recreation News, Programs and Events. When you are ready to register for a program, all you will have to do is sign up! We accept credit card payment and e-checks.  Now you can register and pay online in the comfort of your own home.  All information that you provide is secure. The family data that you input is identical to the data you have previously submitted on paper registration forms.

The Recreation Department focuses on the health and safety of our residents during these challenging times. STORYWALK® 
Check out the Tinton Falls StoryWalk®. The Recreation Department and the Tinton Falls Library are working together to provide exercise and reading while you enjoy a great book in the great outdoors. Our StoryWalk® route is located at Sycamore Park Around Fields 2 & 3.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

PARK PERMITS
For those of us who live in Tinton Falls we are fortunate to have access to some beautiful parks and athletic fields. We encourage you "Get Outside" and Enjoy.  Family usage and single use "pickup games" for nineteen players or less a Park Permit is not required. All Organized Sport Leagues and Teams must obtain a Park Permit. Kindly download, complete the Park Permit and Hold Harmless Form and submit to the Recreation Department for review and approval.
